A time-served boat and ship builder, Rex Wain has 33 years of experience, making him both a leading authority and a producer of the finest and most correct work on the canal. He is regarded a master craftsman in the building of narrowboat back cabins and all wooden parts of the narrowboat, using measurements taken from numerous original examples; either his own or from those restored for customers.

Ken Brenchley has been a boat fitter for over 20 years. His work ranges from the luxury custom interior, an example being Salter Paul, where he even adapted antique pieces to fit, to the streamlined modern interior of Blackberry.
