The ex GUCCCo Little Woolwich motor Capricorn was shortened to 50ft after passing into private ownership in the 1950s. The original hull sides were saved and remained on the bank at Stockton for use as a shed. Using the Little Woolwich Denebola, the BBS team went to Stockton to rescue the hull sides. They were winched onto Denebola and boated back to Brinklow where 8ft of the sides have been put back into Capricorn.
The work involved plasma cutting the old cabin off where the new plates were to be inserted, sepearating the front and back of Capricorn and pulling the two halves apart then re-riveting the old sides back in place.
