SNIPE...


Snipe is one of eight Cowburn and Cowpar motors built by Yarwoods and named after birds beginning with the letter S. She was built with rounded chines and all steel construction and for many years Snipe was used as a hotel boat.

Brinklow Boat Services have replaced the bottom and chines on Snipe right from the stem to the stern. Also Simon Wain built a new engine room and back cabin which was fitted out by Rex Wain. The owner, Richard Wood, built the main steel cabin which was later welded up by BBS. Snipe has just been repainted in the Cowburn and Cowpar livery with paint work by Oxon Boat Painting (see services page), sign writing by Bob McIntyre and art work by Bridget Carter.
