| Scorpio is a 'Small Northwich' motor built by W. J. Yarwood and Sons as one of twelve iron composite narrowboats for the star class fleet of the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company. In 1948, Scorpio entered service with British Waterways and later passed into the maintenance fleet, where she remained until 2002. |  |

She was restored by Brinklow Boats in 2004 back to full working condition including a new riveted back cabin and engine room. Scorpio now makes up part of the British Waterways Heritage Project. |
